Through a conceptual photographic process my work deals with recurring themes of memory. Drawn from my interest in non-linear perception, my artistic approach is based on the deconstruction and reconstruction of space. Composed of different moments in time, I compress archived photographic information into a single image.

Born in Munich, Mark Fernandes recently completed his MFA in Photography and Related Media at Parsons the New School for Design. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
