2009 National Juried Competition

Jimmie Allen is an Assistant Professor of Photography at Missouri State University. His photographic work focuses on the possibilities of finding humor, irony and beauty in a deteriorating urban landscape. His work has been included into multiple group and solo shows. He has produced a self–published hand bound artist book titled Coincidental Photographs. Jimmie also directed and produced a documentary film titled Imagination in the Boondocks on noted photographer Keith Carter.
