After 20 years on Union Square, The Camera Club of New York has found a new home in the Arts Building on West 37th Street, right in the middle of a growing community of visual and performing arts organizations. We have begun to build-out our space with all new darkrooms for black and white, as well as color printing, and full-service studio.


The Camera Club of New York (CCNY), a venerable not-for-profit organization founded by Alfred Stieglitz in the late 19th century, is supported mostly by its members -- fine art and documentary photographers – who sustain CCNY as a darkroom, shooting studio, and arts organization. The club offers low-cost photography classes, a lecture series and workshops, an exhibition program, and the only year-round darkroom residency program in New York.
