Chris McCaw is a San Francisco based artist whose day job is as a custom platinum printer. For the past few years McCaw has been exploring the process of solarization and testing the boundaries of analog photographic medium. He recently received a New Works Grant from the Andy Warhol Foundation/SF Camerawork for the Sunburn project. His work is found in many museum collections such as the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, the George Eastman House, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston.
